Summit Cheering Athletics (formerly Summit Cheering) is Missoula's original cheerleading academy. Located in their new facility at 1920 Montana st. which features the newest in combination spring floor,. They specialize in training children ages 3 and up the many features of cheering athletics-tumbling, dance, stunting, motions and jumps.  SCA teaches all aspects of recreational and competitive cheer and competes locally and regionally.

Long-time instructor and new owner, Carrie Olson, feels it is important for young people to learn essential fitness fundamentals while developing a "can-do" attitude.  "We want to develop the person within the cheerleader.  Our mission is to increase your child's self-esteem by providing a safe, fun and positive learning environment that promotes self-confidence, self-discipline, physical conditioning and enthusiasm." 

SCA's qualified coaches are USASF cerified who believe in developing each athlete's basic skills to their highest level to encourage safety and good technique. 

Class ratios are deliberately kept small to provide as much one-on-one training as possible.  Additionally, SCA also choreographs cheer routines for teams, competition individual and duo routines, cuts music, as well as puts on private lessons and clinics for athletes who want to try-out for high school or college cheerleading squads.

     Have a birthday party to plan?  Your child can choose their form of fun whether it's cheerleading, dance, or tumbling and leave the rest to us. You can also check out The Summit Pro Shop for fitness equipment, Summit logo sportswear, or order a set of pom-poms in your favorite local team's colors to cheer them on.
